Santa’s Midnight Run
It’s Christmas Eve and Santa is on his way, delivering toys and goodies to children all over the world. It’s a perilous journey and Santa needs your help. Danger lurks out there amid the snow and clouds and not everyone is friendly! You’ll have to keep your eyes peeled for tricks and traps. There is an angry snowman blowing steam from his ears, a wicked green elf that would love to trip you up and a sneaky invisible snowman that will catch you if you nod off on along the way.
It’s not all bad news out there on this chilly night; there is help available when you need it most. Santa’s sleigh and his rocket ship stand ready to give you a lift if you fall from the sky. And, you can call on Santa’s special powers for real emergencies: An invincibility boost to protect from enemies and a gingerbread man to zip you to your next stop.
You’ve got a long, long way to go and the journey gets more difficult the farther you travel into the night. You might want to save those special powers for when you really need them. Use them wisely and you will make it back to Santa’s house in one piece, if a little tired.
How to help Santa:
• Santa can travel forward or backward and he can jump. Use the arrows to direct Santa on his way.
• The North Pole is a night run checkpoint. If Santa runs into trouble he can return to his last checkpoint to get back on track.
• The Invincibility Token protects Santa from all enemies and traps for a limited period of time. There are 3 available and you can buy more from the store.
• The Gingerbread Man whisks Santa to the next checkpoint bypassing all the danger on the way. There is 1 to start with and you can buy more from the store.
• Santa’s Sleigh will escort you back up to the sky if you fall.
• Santa’s rocket will shoot you up to the stars.
Troublesome things:
• Snowmen – there are two snowmen, one is white and smoking mad and the other is invisible, except for his scarf and hat. Keep your eyes open!
• Elf – The little green elf is just waiting to trip Santa up. You’ll know he’s around when you hear him so keep your ears open!
• Ornament: There are a lot of ornaments on Christmas Eve, most are harmless but one of them has a trick up its hanger so watch your feet!
• Lollipops – Some lollipops are sweet, some fall unexpectedly from above and knock you out. Stay alert for these!
• There might be something else but … well, you’ll know it when you find it!
Good luck, Have Fun!
